Fox Movie theatre engagement session in Toronto | Dilmini & Ty

Dilmini & Ty have this light in their eyes when they talk about how they met. Their story could make anyone believe in love at first sight. A chance meeting in Pearl King, a simple glance, a brave first word and the rest is history. Ty thought it was only fitting to propose to Dilmini in the very place they met, so when we started planning their engagement shoot I couldn't have imagined a better place to meet than where it all began. Pearl King. They walked me through that first evening, and the full proposal, and we started off their epic date day there. From there we headed to the Fox Movie Theatre in the Beaches, because honestly, what date would be complete without a movie and a coffee?

Tomorrow these two lovebirds get married, and I'm bursting at the seams with joy for them! I can't wait to witness them say their I dos.

Frances

I'm Frances-- a photographer with a fine art background and a serious soft spot for love, wide open spaces, wandering barefoot and giving epic hugs. I'm drawn to connections, anything outdoors, raw emotion, natural light and the human experience. I am a big believer in bear hugs, loving big, and making things by hand. I think I look ridiculous when I laugh, but it never stops me from doing so.

Photography for me is all about connection and creating a window into your lives for future generations to peer into. Every one and every relationship is unique. Your images should be too. Annie Leibovitz said it best "When I say I want to photograph someone, what it really means is that I'd like to know them." That is so true for me. I don't just want to photograph you, I want to know you.
